Homeward Bound NORMAN is not trying to replace existing providers. We are organizing a stronger, countywide system that helps every serious partner succeed — together.

Our Approach

Many voices. One system.

No single organization can end homelessness in Norman. But a coordinated coalition — faith communities, nonprofits, government, universities, and businesses working together through a shared system — absolutely can.

The Homeward Bound NORMAN coalition is organized in three concentric rings — mirroring the community wheel in our logo: faith communities, civic institutions and businesses, and direct service organizations — each playing a distinct and essential role.

Faith communities and civic leaders who affirm that Norman will not leave its neighbors behind — and who mobilize their members to act.

🏢 Resource & Infrastructure

Businesses, hospitals, universities, and government partners who provide funding, facilities, data, and political legitimacy to the system.

🤝 Direct Service

The organizations on the ground — shelters, case managers, clinics, housing navigators — whose daily work serves people experiencing homelessness directly.
